Border control in the Zone

Сheckpoint 13 is a PC border-control simulator with survival and RPG elements, set in the Zone after a second Emission made it impossible to contain. You work as a low-ranking customs officer at an old Soviet terminal, checking people and cargo before deciding who can pass, who should be detained, and who must return to the radioactive Zone.

Daily inspections

Each working day lasts 15 to 20 minutes. You verify documents and biometrics, and use a Geiger counter and anomaly detector to inspect artifacts and mutated samples. The Zone changes: an artifact that can be taken out one day may be deadly to others the next. Creatures that mimic humans also try to cross from the fog, so you have to watch for more than faulty paperwork.
