shanghai ghost pawnshop

A pawnshop in Shanghai

Shanghai Ghost Pawnshop is a PC pawnshop management game set in Republican-era Shanghai. By day, you appraise jade, paintings, watches, jewelry, and other goods, checking their details and history against reference catalogs to spot fakes. You decide whether to buy an item or lend against it, negotiate a price, and judge whether the deal is worth the risk.

Deals and cash flow

Buying outright, collecting interest on loans, and finding buyers are different ways to make money. Customers can redeem pawned items, while forfeited goods become part of your inventory. You’ll need to manage cash and storage, upgrade your counter, and build relationships as you keep the business running. Each signed pawn ticket can lead to another story.
