SALTWRATH

SALTWRATH: A New Take on Roguelike Combat

In SALTWRATH, players navigate a tense battlefield set against a drowned Greek shore, where the gods' influences shape every encounter. This PC game flips traditional combat mechanics upside down; rather than merely attacking, players strategically choose their gear and positioning while an endless horde approaches. The allure of godly power is coupled with a looming sense of debt: Hubris accrues, influencing your fate as the run progresses.

The Moirai's Enticing Gamble

The game stands out with its incorporation of the Moirai, who deal terms between battles. Each deity offers distinct advantages and sacrifices. Ares floods your weaponry with power, Hermes ignites the ground behind, while Athena provides tactical assistance through her arsenal. Players must balance these advantages with the cost of Hubris, which follows them relentlessly. Every tactical choice amplifies the stakes as Poseidon awaits, ready to settle the score.
