Collect Treasure and Customize Your Character

The game excels in its diverse loot system, featuring 33 unique hats, 30 weapon types, and 15 species of pets to collect. Each weapon can be infused with up to two Spell Runes, offering exciting twists to your attacks. Character building is equally robust, allowing players to craft powerful builds tailored to their preferred playstyle.

Dynamic Shooter Mechanics and Gameplay Features

At its core, Rum & Gun is a frenzied top-down shooter, but it also supports melee and spellcasting builds. Players will control movement using their keyboard while aiming with the mouse. The game features an active reload system, adding a layer of skill to combat. Note that gamepad support has been discontinued, so a mouse and keyboard setup is essential for optimal gameplay.

Arena Battles and Infinite Treasure Hunts

Once the main quest is complete, players can jump into the Arena for competitive challenges or explore the infinitely randomized maps in Treasure Hunt mode. The game supports LAN co-op play, meaning friends can join together to take on the game’s challenges. Additionally, players can design their own maps with the included editor and share them on the Steam Workshop.
