RUINA

Story and setting

RUINA is a single-player visual novel with command-based battles, set roughly a hundred years after the Great Collapse destroyed civilization and stopped the sun from rising. You follow Reina, Mirea, and Luluka as they investigate Lux anomalies among the ruins of old cities and seek the truth behind the catastrophe and the auroras in the sky.

The blue and purple auroras are tied to Lux, an unknown energy that also signals danger. The girls’ investigation brings them into conflict with the Watchers of the Dawn, who reject changes to the world, and their leader, Nox. The story centers on the choice between protecting the present and risking everything for a morning no one has seen.
