Road Works

A Fresh Take on Strategy with Road Works

Road Works breathes new life into the strategy genre. Developed by indie studio TaxSoft, it draws from the classic City Builder and Business Tycoon games but does so without the usual constraints of time or money. Players are tasked with managing factories and designing intricate road networks to maximize profits. With an emphasis on planning and simulation, achieving success becomes a puzzle to solve rather than a race against the clock.

Crafting Ideal Transportation Networks

Wisely choosing from up to ten different types of roads is crucial in Road Works. Each transportation scenario presents unique challenges, demanding strategic thinking and creativity. The freedom to lay out extensive road systems without financial limitations allows players to focus entirely on optimizing their designs. It turns the traditional tycoon model on its head, favoring flexibility and ingenuity over strict resource management.
