Return to Monkey Island

Return of a Classic Adventure

Return to Monkey Island marks the surprising return of series creator Ron Gilbert, reviving the beloved tales of point and click adventure that began with The Secret of Monkey Island and continued with Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge. Years have passed since Guybrush Threepwood faced the nefarious zombie pirate LeChuck. Now, with his true love Elaine Marley focused on governance, Guybrush finds himself drifting and unfulfilled, still on the quest for the elusive Secret of Monkey Island.

New Hurdles in Familiar Waters

Melee Island has changed hands, now ruled by a new breed of young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison. The old guard has been pushed aside, creating a tension-filled atmosphere that challenges Guybrush as he interacts with old friends and new faces. The adventure is layered with quirky dialogue, sharp humor, and interesting predicaments that are hallmarks of the series. Add in the incarceration of famed businessman Stan for “marketing-related crimes,” and the stakes are higher than ever.
