Rasante

Pixel-art flight combat

Rasante is a PC pixel-art arcade flight game set during the 1982 Falklands War. You fly as Esteban, nicknamed Tero, an A-4 pilot in the fictional Fieles de Plata squadron, on missions against the British fleet. His son Mateo is stationed in a foxhole on the islands.

Low-level flying

You fly close to the sea to stay out of British radar detection. Climbing brings alarms and Harriers in pursuit, so you have to drop low again to evade them. Fuel is limited, and the Hercules tanker’s mid-air refueling is needed to make the trip out and back.
