Raid on the Ruhr

A Historical Air Raid in Raid on the Ruhr

Raid on the Ruhr transports players back to May 1943, when the RAF's Bomber Command assembled a squadron known as Squadron ‘X’. This group of elite bomber and nightfighter veterans, chosen from across the Commonwealth, prepares to execute a daring mission that could change the course of the war: attacking three hydroelectric dams deep in Germany. As players take control of these aircraft, they experience a blend of strategy and action in this compelling simulation on PC.

Execute a Timed Strategy Assault

The game's design emphasizes not just flying but mastering strategic maneuvers in low-altitude bombings. Pilots must skillfully execute bombing runs while navigating challenging conditions, remaining below radar to avoid enemy detection. The meticulous attention to historical accuracy in aircraft mechanics allows players to feel the weight of each decision they make under pressure. Every mission is a blend of rapid reflexes and strategic foresight.
