A roguelite in a graphics card

PURGE://PROTOCOL is a bullet-heaven roguelite set in the General Purpose Underworld, a city built inside a graphics card. You enter corrupted sectors, fight what you find there and absorb what you collect. Leveling up gradually reveals more of a world that stays the same size: your awareness of it changes.

Combat and upgrades

The game has ten weapons, each with evolutions, plus a Main Cannon that fires when you pull the trigger. Manual aiming rewards accurate shots. As you level up, S.A.G.E., your companion intelligence, recommends upgrades and explains its reasoning. Its advice is usually right, but you can take other upgrade cards labeled CORRUPTED. They hit five times harder, and using them changes how S.A.G.E. responds.
