A puppet in the forest

Puppet's Trial is a PC game about a puppet who wakes up in a forest with a note as their only clue. You follow its instructions to find a strange house, where the entrance to the Deep Room lies. Previous contestants remain inside. Some try to stop you from completing the trial because they were too afraid to go deeper.

Deep Room trials

Each Deep Room is guarded by a Master and presents a challenge. Completing a room lets you claim an artifact as proof of success. The Deep Rooms keep their progress when you die, so you can continue from where you left off the next time you enter one.
