In Project Horizon, players assemble in teams of up to four, taking on crucial roles without assigned positions. The absence of predefined roles means that effective communication is essential to navigate the chaos of space combat. Each member must decide, in the heat of battle, whether to man the guns, fly the ship, operate the radar and auto-turrets, or prevent the reactor from overheating. The choices you make will dictate your crew's chances of survival.

Dynamic Repairs Under Pressure

Damage control is at the heart of Project Horizon. Unlike traditional health bars that indicate ship integrity, damage manifests through tangible changes within the ship. When missiles strike, the aft compartment starts leaking air, prompting quick decisions on repairs. Should a crew member leave their post to seal leaks, or is it better to maintain firepower? Each decision can dramatically impact the outcome of skirmishes, adding a layer of tension to combat.
