Island factory automation

Portoria is a factory automation game for PC set on a small island in the open ocean. Under an old maritime accord, anyone living on an unclaimed island can found a nation there. You arrive with a little money and second-hand machines, and the population stays at one: you. You start by digging ore by hand, then build machines and production lines to take over the work.

Machines and production

Drills mine ore, furnaces smelt it, and inserters and belts move materials between machines. You can link two-lane belts, splitters and underground belts with assemblers, steam engines, solar panels and batteries. Across 30 machines and 52 items, the aim is to make production keep running on its own.
