Story and premise

Path to Transcendence（追境） is a story-led listening puzzle game for PC, set in the Northern Song era. You follow Mingdao, a former court music official expelled from the capital for changing court music. A musician who once lived by the qin, he spends the rest of his life with a silent, stringless instrument. One snowy night in the Qinling Mountains, he takes in an abandoned baby and names him Yunsheng.

The story spans 30 years, moving from the Qinling Mountains to Jiangling and the palaces of Bianjing. Old relationships and events come back into view as the story follows Mingdao and Yunsheng.
