A garden on your desktop

Paid Bloom is a PC garden game that grows behind your other windows while you work. You don’t water or tend the plants directly: every ten keystrokes add a drop of water, which feeds everything you’ve planted. Time spent working is time the garden spends growing.

Flowers and rare colours

There are 55 species, and planting the same seed twice produces different individual flowers, with variations in shape, petal count, colour and how each plant leans toward the light. Each species has rare colour variants that can appear as you keep growing it. An album records the flowers you’ve found and shows what’s still missing.
