One-button jump rope

Owl Skips is a PC arcade roguelite about a little purple owl trying to survive an increasingly complicated game of jump rope. You charge a jump by pressing a button, hold to set its height, then release at the right moment to clear the rope. The controls stay simple as the patterns become harder to read.

Upgrades and risky runs

During each run, you choose from randomized upgrade cards. They can change how the owl moves, with options such as midair flaps, hovering, shields and revives. Upgrades stack, so a run can build around staying airborne and avoiding hits, or pushing the score multiplier higher.
