Game premise and mechanics

Overlord: Raising Hell is an action role-playing video game set in an alternate world where you control a resurrected warrior known as "The Overlord." Your objective is to defeat seven corrupt ruling heroes in order to reconquer the lands and establish your dominance over its inhabitants. The gameplay involves commanding hordes of gremlin-like creatures referred to as "Minions" alongside direct control of the Overlord himself from a third-person perspective.

Corruption mechanics

The game includes a corruption feature reminiscent of that found in the Fable series, allowing you to make choices that impact the story and gameplay. You can choose to be evil or “really evil,” with your actions influencing various aspects of the game world and your interactions with characters. This moral choice system plays a significant role in shaping your experience as you progress through the narrative.
