In ORB, players are thrust into a universe where the remnants of a once-great empire lie scattered across the stars. The time of exploration has returned after a long intergalactic dark age, but with it comes conflict. The two races, the Malus and the Alyssians, embark on their quests into space, unaware of the distrust that history has sown between them. What unfolds is a struggle not just for survival, but for resources critical to their very existence.

Resource Management in Space

At its core, ORB is a 3D real-time strategy game that emphasizes resource management and tactical base-building. Players must establish Offworld Resource Bases to sustain their war efforts. Collecting resources in the vacuum of space becomes essential for constructing new vessels and expanding technological capabilities. Each decision has weight, as both races are on shaky financial footing after years of isolation.
