Mining and co-op

Onion Planets is a co-op mining game for PC that you can play solo or with friends online. You cut through layered planets with lasers and drills, mine materials to sell, and build an industrial operation while defending it from local creatures.

The ground is simulated: each tile you mine drops as a boulder. You grind boulders into gravel and extract valuable materials from it. Boulders, gravel and liquids can flow into the holes you’ve made and into natural caves, so mining also shapes where materials go.
