A 1999 TV horror game

Night Viewing is a first-person psychological horror puzzle game for PC, set late at night in 1999, while local TV channels are still broadcasting. You pick up a remote and switch between nine strange channels as you investigate an old apartment, look through the peephole and inspect the television’s add-on box.

Channel puzzles

Clues come from the broadcasts, sounds in the hallway and notes. The host’s pauses and markings on a test card can respond to your actions. You use the remote’s number keys, direction buttons, volume and confirm key to solve puzzles involving a wheel, a rabbit show and the test card.
