Monty on the Run (CPC/Spectrum)

Relive the Classic Adventure of Monty on the Run

Monty on the Run transports players back to 1985, capturing the spirit of retro platformers. Developed by Gremlin Graphics, this game centers on Monty Mole, who has just escaped from Scudmore Prison. As Monty, your goal is to navigate through various hideouts and secret locations, all while avoiding capture as you make your way to freedom. This remastered version includes both the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC iterations, allowing you to enjoy a piece of gaming history on modern systems.

Navigate a World of Daring Challenges

The game mechanics allow you to choose 5 out of 21 items from the 'Freedom Kit' as you progress through the levels. Strategic item selection becomes essential, as each condenses different abilities that can help you evade or tackle obstacles. You'll find yourself racing against the clock to board the cross-channel ferry before time runs out. Each decision you make steers Monty's fate, adding layers of depth to this seemingly simple adventure.
