Monster Hunter Stories - Xbox One

A New Approach to the Monster Hunter Universe

Monster Hunter Stories redefines the familiar franchise with its RPG twist, placing you in the shoes of a Monster Rider rather than a Hunter. This innovative entry allows players to forge deep connections with various monsters, referred to as Monsties, transforming typically combative encounters into nurturing relationships. Set against the backdrop of a richly detailed world, players engage with the narrative in ways that bring a fresh perspective to the beloved series.

Unraveling the Story of the Riders

In a village where Riders coexist with marvelous creatures, your journey begins as you strive to become an esteemed Monster Rider. Unlike traditional gameplay where slaying beasts is the goal, this adventure tasks you with raising and bonding with monsters. However, as a calamity named the Black Blight spreads, both Riders and Hunters must unite to thwart this impending doom. Uncovering the secrets of the Kinship Stone and the “Legend of Redan” will help you confront this dire challenge.
