First-person rage game

Lobby No. 5 is a first-person rage game for PC about a research institute studying places that shouldn’t exist. When the facility goes into lockdown, you enter a dimension portal and reach a lobby lined with doors to liminal rooms. Each room is a trap, and your goal is to find keys to open the next doors and eventually unlock the exit.

Traps and retries

Deaths are instant, and so are respawns. The short levels are built for quick retries, with checkpoints that keep you from being sent back further than the room you’re in. There are no lives or penalties. To make progress, you learn each room’s pattern, but memorizing a route isn’t enough: traps react to your movement. Jump toward a wall and it moves; crouch, and something above you notices.
