Little Merchant is a shopkeeping game about building a potion business in a town where people need remedies for coughs, burns and sleepless nights. You start in a rented room with a satchel, a few coins and no shop. To get started, you gather herbs, brew potions and sell herbs to Bertoldo at the Loggia.

Herbs and brewing

Nettles, lavender and bellflowers grow along the paths and in the neighbors’ gardens. Picking from gardens can bring the guards after you, and getting caught means a fine. Back at your bench, you use a recipe book to choose what to brew and set the potion’s strength. Timing a green notch correctly finishes a potion early. The recipe book fills as you make discoveries.
