The Setting: A Motel in 1999

Late Checkout transports players to a lonely roadside motel during a fierce winter night in 1999. As you settle in for a night shift, snow clogs the world outside, isolating you from civilization. Your tasks seem simple: handle chores, serve guests, and enjoy a warm cup of coffee. The atmosphere is thick with nostalgia, complemented by the flickering light of a dim flashlight illuminating your surroundings and the howling blizzard just outside the window.

Chores Turn to Challenges

Routine quickly becomes the foundation of survival. Players navigate a list of straightforward tasks that simulate the daily grind of motel management, from cleaning rooms to petting a local cat. Each completed chore pulls you deeper into the motel's eerie setting. Yet, the calm is fleeting. A sudden power outage plunges you into unsettling darkness, signaling that your ordinary night has morphed into something perilous.
