Last Rites

Unsettling Atmosphere in Last Rites

In Last Rites, players navigate a haunting narrative filled with dread and uncertainty. Set in a dimly lit house, your mission is deceptively simple: tidy your room and bid farewell to your grandmother. However, the presence of Father Aldous, a priest intent on enforcing thematic horror elements, transforms this mundane task into a nightmarish ordeal that grips you tightly from the start.

Tension Builds with Every Move

The game introduces a core mechanic that amplifies its horror: sound. Father Aldous patrols the house, his prayers echoing ominously as he searches for you. Running, dropping objects, and even shutting doors generate noise, drawing his attention. Each creak of the floorboards or rattle of a doorknob heightens the sense of danger. Tension mounts as you attempt to evade him while navigating the familiar yet terrifying space of your surroundings.
