Laira Cut Me Open

Story and premise

Laira Cut Me Open is a 2D interactive story for PC about a woman who wakes in a psychiatric ward with lost memories, no money and a stitched wound across her belly. She believes Laira cut her open and stole part of her body. The story follows her attempt to escape and find the person responsible, amid a collapse of public order.

Laira’s identity is uncertain to the protagonist: she might be an ex-friend, a husband snatcher, a patient with kidney disease or a rising star in the protagonist’s industry. The game centers on her fear and hatred, and the question of whether she can forgive the person who hurt her.
