The Abyss descent

Knight Descending is a PC hack-and-slash game about a knight trying to seal the Abyss, a pit that opened when the monastery of St. Arden sank underground. You descend through rooms and corridors that are rebuilt for each run, fighting toward the floor of a place no one has seen the bottom of.

The main descent has 18 floors across six depths: Chapel, Ossuary, Drowned Library, Nameless Chamber, Burning Depths and Living Stratum. The stairs are shut every third floor until you defeat the Warden guarding the way down. Six Wardens stand watch in total, alongside elite monsters with special traits.
