A New Twist on the Classic Hnefatafl

In King's Table - The Legend of Ragnarok, players engage in a strategic battle set in the Viking Age, where ancient lore meets modern gameplay. This PC title reimagines the classic strategy board game Hnefatafl, placing players in the shoes of Odin as he attempts to escape his adversaries. Utilizing intellect and cunning, you'll face challenges that require sharp tactics to outmaneuver opponents, including legendary figures from Norse mythology.

Defend Odin Against Overwhelming Odds

The core premise involves defending Odin with a limited number of troops against a much larger force of attackers. The board game setup features twelve defenders against twenty-four assailants, setting the stage for a thrilling contest of wits. Each move is crucial, as players strategize to maintain safety while positioning Odin toward the escape corners. Understanding the dynamics of this asymmetrical gameplay is essential to ensure Odin's survival.
