I Promise

A Journey Through Grief in I Promise

In I Promise, players navigate the hauntingly quiet home of a father searching for closure after the death of his estranged daughter, Amy. Set against the backdrop of an emotional narrative, this short exploration game draws inspiration from titles like Gone Home. As you tread through each room, you uncover fragments of Amy’s life, piecing together the moments the father missed during their time apart.

Environmental Storytelling Unfolds

The heart of I Promise lies in its focus on environmental storytelling. Each object within the house carries memories and emotions that help illustrate Amy's world. These items are not just props but a means of connection, revealing her experiences and feelings. Players are encouraged to reflect on how relationships can shape lives, leading them toward understanding the profound void created by years of estrangement.
