HROT

Dark Times in a Retro Setting: Welcome to HROT

HROT transports players to a hauntingly familiar version of Czechoslovakia in 1986, following a catastrophic disaster. Set deep within a civil defense shelter located beneath a Prague Metro station, this single-player retro FPS plunges you into a world rich with historical context and dark atmosphere. Players assume the role of a soldier armed with a non-functioning gas mask and a vz. 52 pistol, tasked with defending their homeland against peculiar threats.

Classic Shooter Mechanics with a Twisted Flair

Drawing heavily from the gameplay conventions of the 1990s FPS genre, HROT features fierce combat scenarios and a variety of weapons at your disposal. Players can wield the vz. 13 SMG, a shotgun, and even experimental Soviet weapons, such as a ball lightning launcher. Every encounter reflects the gritty nature of retro shooters, providing an authentic throwback that both challenges and exhilarates.
