A Solo Culinary Journey in Hot Pot For One

Hot Pot For One is a thought-provoking first-person game that captures the loneliness and comfort found in preparing a warm meal for oneself. Set against the backdrop of Christmas Eve, players navigate the tender emotions of solitude while indulging in the heartwarming ritual of making hot pot. Each interaction serves to enhance the experience, as players combine ingredients, observe them cook, and savor the moments that make up this bittersweet narrative.

Embracing Loneliness Through Food

The game draws inspiration from the personal experiences of international students who often find themselves distanced from family and friends. This poignant connection highlights the struggle of loneliness, especially during festive seasons. Food becomes a beacon of familiarity and comfort, allowing players to reminisce about cherished memories. The act of cooking serves not merely as gameplay but as a way to retain emotional strength amidst life's challenges.
