Home:Ward is a hand-drawn first-person horror game set in 1907. You wake with no name, a spear and a weak torch in a dungeon, and must find the way out somewhere below. Your goal is to find the gate and get home.

Sound and light

You listen for creatures moving in the dark: each has a tell, such as a breath, a scrape or a sudden silence. The torch helps keep the darkness back, but forcing it to burn brighter risks drawing attention. When something lunges, you can stand your ground with the spear or take a longer route if the short path feels unsafe.
