Home is Where One Starts...

Discovering Home in a Sumptuous Landscape

Home is Where One Starts... casts players into a poignant first-person exploration journey, reminiscent of titles like Dear Esther and Gone Home. Set in the rural American South, this short experience invites you to uncover the intricate layers of memory through the eyes of a young girl. With a narrative steeped in childhood and hope, every step reveals a carefully curated story mediated by the girl's future self.

Unraveling a Non-Linear Narrative

By wandering through a richly articulated environment, players can piece together the fractured realities of a broken home. Clues and vignettes scattered throughout the landscape serve not only as storytelling devices but also as reflective prompts to ponder the nature of home. The non-linear unfolding allows exploration of themes that resonate on both personal and universal levels.
