Long-range shooting

Holdover - Long Range Sniper Simulator is a PC shooting simulator focused on long-range precision shooting. You fire from a fixed position at steel and ring targets, judging distance and wind before taking a shot. There’s no combat: people and animals aren’t targets, and the game has no injuries or blood.

Wind and ballistics

Shots use exterior ballistics, so the bullet’s path is calculated rather than randomized. Wind can push a shot off course, and at long range even a light breeze matters. You read conditions from the landscape and a windsock, then decide whether to adjust or wait for a lull between gusts. After firing, there’s a noticeable delay before the bullet reaches the target.
