His Umbrella Is Dry

A paper offerings shop

His Umbrella Is Dry is a first-person horror game set in Hong Kong in 1999. You take over your uncle’s paper offerings shop while he’s away, making incense and candles by day and filling orders for the dead at night.

Customers bring orders and stories into the shop. You can watch their umbrellas and footprints, and listen to what they say. One customer always leaves a dry umbrella, though everyone else’s is dripping wet. Your uncle’s letter gives one rule about him: if his umbrella is dry, don’t write his name.
