Secrets of Hinamizawa: The Village Background

Nestled in the lush Japanese countryside, Hinamizawa is home to fewer than two thousand residents. Its peaceful facade is misleading; beneath it lies a history rife with fear and superstition. Each year, during the summer, inhabitants experience a sinister series of events tied to the resistance against a now-abandoned dam construction project. Exploring the quaint charm of the village while unraveling its mysteries becomes a central theme of this visual novel.
