This package allows both newcomers and veterans to revisit the legacy that shifted the landscape of action gaming.

Flipping the Script on First-Person Shooters

Upon its release, Heretic introduced inventories, character classes, and vertical aiming, laying the groundwork for future FPS titles. Hexen followed suit, further extending gameplay with multi-class systems and puzzle elements that enriched the genre. This re-release enhances both games, allowing players to interact with these foundational titles like never before. With 117 campaign maps and 120 deathmatch arenas combined, there’s plenty to explore.
