Guntech 2: Retro Shoot ’Em Up Returns

Guntech 2 marks a triumphant return for the beloved cave flyer genre of shoot ’em ups, marrying retro aesthetics with modern graphics. This PC title captures the thrill of classic gameplay, heavily inspired by influential games like Thrust, Oids, Geometry Wars, and Asteroids. With a focus on twin-stick controls, players can engage in intense aerial combat, either solo or with up to three friends in local co-op.

Classic Gameplay with Modern Controls

When it comes to controls, Guntech 2 offers flexibility. Players can opt for a game controller or use keyboard and mouse setup exclusively for the first player. The controller supports twin-stick mechanics; the left stick allows for steering and thrust, while the right stick handles railgun targeting. Keyboard users will maneuver using WASD or arrow keys, firing weapons with SHIFT or SPACE alongside a mouse-aimed railgun.
