Governor of Antares

Governing Antares

Governor of Antares is a PC game about running an imperial colony on a distant planet. You’re appointed governor by imperial order, with a primary duty to harvest, refine, and ship the planet’s rare Mycel Extract to the Empire on a regular basis. You also work to expand and defend the colony, aiming to secure a permanent imperial foothold in the region.

A dangerous planet

Antares is a swamp-jungle planet in the Scorpius sector. Its native plants and animals are extremely dangerous, and the Imperial Bureau of Maps and Space Anomalies suspects their unusual biological properties come from ancient bioengineering by a long-extinct alien race. The fungus that produces Mycel Extract is especially valuable for its extraordinary properties.
