Survival Horror Mechanics and Tension

Managing limited resources is crucial in Gloom. Your flashlight is essential, but it runs on battery power that depletes quickly. As you explore the island, finding batteries becomes a necessity for survival. The limited light adds to the tension, making each dark corner a potential threat. Players need to balance exploration with caution, as the shadows hide not just clues but also threats that could end your quest abruptly.
