Game type and premise

Gizmo is a puzzle game that combines elements of spatial logic and interlocking mechanisms within a Sokoban-inspired framework. Players control a robot navigating through an experiment chamber where they must solve various puzzles to collect gears and reach an extraction elevator. The game focuses on planning each movement carefully while managing the robot's limited power supply.

Puzzle mechanics

Players push heavy crates to create pathways and avoid hazards like lasers. Each crate behaves differently: wooden crates can be destroyed by beams, while others provide needed shelter. Crates are moved step by step, requiring strategic thinking about their placement to carve out safe zones.
