Giblings

Game premise and mechanics

Giblings is a real-time brawler for up to six players set in a destructible combat arena. Players can dig through the ground, create new terrain, and use grappling hooks for movement and combat. The game is inspired by the 1998 title Liero, focusing on fast-paced, competitive play.

Combat arenas

The game includes six distinct maps, each designed with a unique layout. Some maps feature floating platforms made of both indestructible rock and destructible soil, leading to mid-air combat as players swing around. Other maps allow players to tunnel underground, engaging in fights beneath the surface. Hazards such as lava, acid, and water are present, adding extra challenges during matches. Players can choose a map at the start of a custom game or let the game select one randomly.
