Gerda: A Flame in Winter

Gerda: A Flame in Winter, A Narrative Experience

In Gerda: A Flame in Winter, players step into the shoes of a young nurse, Gerda Larsen, amid the tumult of February 1945. As the war comes to a close, Gerda faces her own battle: saving her husband, Anders. This narrative-driven game blends decision-making with deep moral dilemmas, compelling players to reflect on their choices as both the immediate and long-term consequences can ripple through the story.

Choices That Shape Gerda’s Path

The heart of the game lies in the weight of your decisions. As Gerda interacts with various characters in her community, whether giving away resources or making tough choices about whom to help, each action influences her narrative journey. This intertwines with character relationship dynamics that can alter the story's direction. Trust can be a currency, and betrayal could come from unforeseen places.
