Climbing the tower

GearSpire is a deckbuilding game about Riku, a tiny pilot climbing a tower after its great Gear stops and rust makes the island’s creatures go wild. You build a robot from parts made by Pops, then fight your way through changing combinations of equipment and enemies.

Your deck comes from the robot. Its right arm, left arm, legs, back and head each add cards, so fitting a drill adds multi-hit attacks, a cannon adds big shots, and spring legs add a stomp that hits every enemy. Remove a part and its cards leave the deck. Rather than choosing cards one by one, you shape your attacks by changing the machine.
