Story and format

杉木花与风信子 Fir flowers and hyacinths is a pixel-art open-world visual novel for PC, made with RPG Maker MZ. At a friend’s funeral, the main character receives a cassette containing memories from the friend’s life. Guided by preparations the friend left behind, you help the protagonist work through unresolved feelings, leave the past behind and face a new life.

Play time

The game takes about an hour and a half to complete. During that time, its story follows the protagonist as they uncover what their friend left for them on the cassette.
