Strategic Pacing in Evertried on Xbox One

In Evertried, every player action dictates the movement of enemy units, setting the stage for a unique strategic experience. Taking place within a tower of 50 floors across five distinct areas, players navigate turn-based combat where their choices govern the flow of battle. This system allows for both fast-paced skirmishes and methodical planning, enabling players to dictate their own pacing while engaging in a battle of wits against foes that respond dynamically.

Unlocking Powers Through Focus Mechanism

A core mechanic of Evertried involves your Focus Level, which is crucial for progression. Hitting or defeating enemies in succession increases this level, providing shards and unlocking special powers called Modifiers. However, remaining idle will cause your Focus Level to decrease, pushing you to maintain constant action. This dynamic adds depth to the gameplay, as players must weigh their next moves carefully while also considering potential enemy interactions and traps to manipulate the battlefield.
