Embervein: War Engine

A drifting war machine

Embervein: War Engine is a PC action game about a living war machine made from roots, rocks and Flame. You cross a frozen mountain, fighting corrupted creatures and searching for the source of the corruption. Drifting is central to survival and combat: moving across the mountain builds heat, which you use to ignite Emberveins, power weapons and forge armor.

Drift and combat

Keep moving, find a line across the slopes and use your momentum against enemies. The better you drift, the more powerful you become. The mountain’s threats include packs of Cryofangs and gargantuan Ashroot monsters, and you’ll need to fight your way farther into the frost as they grow more dangerous.
