Naval trading game

East Sea is a naval strategy and simulation game for PC, set in a fictional world based on the Baltic Sea during the 1400s and 1500s. You command a ship, build it into a floating home for your crew, and trade between cities. Battles, crew management, ship layout and political standing all shape how you operate.

Ship-to-ship combat

You take direct control of your ship in battle and give orders to your crew. Early cannons are rare and unreliable, so archers and grappling hooks are important tools. Hooks work as physically simulated ropes: your crew has to pull them to bring your ship closer to an enemy, rather than boarding with a single command.
