ABOUT THIS GAME
A sun held in a mask
Duskblade: The Caged Sun is a story-driven metroidvania for PC, set in a world trapped in twilight. A century ago, the King used a mask made by the Maskmaker to cage the heart of Aurel, the sun. The Twilight Blade Order resisted, but its members fell. You play as an unmasked-born survivor, guided by an ember of Aurel that still speaks to you.
The game’s regions tell parts of the same story, and its bosses are memories of the crime that caged the sun. Its stylized silhouette art uses glowing skies and light as its only color.
